Bistro Laurent in Culver City on Sepulveda not the other one on Overland. So, this is a new place who's owner use to co-own the other one. This one is located at 3936 Sepulveda Blvd Culver City CA 90230. Once you get over the location, it's actually quite comfortable, clean and no nonsense inside. I ordered the La Crepe du Matin, filled with cheeses, eggs, tomatoes and ham. It's delicate, rich, intricate, deep and really a wonderful surprise. What knocked my socks off was the almond croissant , which the server recommended, heated. They bake each morning. Toasty outside and fluffy and tender inside. Seeing that steam peel out and smelling the almond paste melting is really spectacular. I had a hot cup of French Roast coffee with this meal. What a great surprise for breakfast.
