Angel City Beer in the Downtown LA Arts District

Our colleague Greg Esser is moving back to Phoenix. He was in the public art office for LA County for less than a year. I was looking forward to working with him in our City but he's going to start an amazing program about art in the desert, not desserts. So we had a beer together with friends at Angel City Beer, 216 South Alameda Street LA CA 9002. This place is off Traction and Alameda in a huge OG brick building. It's really awesome. They have paintings lining the walls and even a room dedicated as a gallery. The beer will be made there eventually. They have beers named after jazz greats like Lester Young and Charlie Parker. I had the Pale Ale which is Charlie Parker. It was absolutely delicious!!! Outside in the lot, a very cool dude was grilling sausage sandwiches. I think they were just $5 which I thought was very reasonable. They had grilled peppers and you could have his signature red sauce, which I highly recommend. It gives it a kick.
