Alvarado and Wilshire around MacArthur Park is a trip. I think the entire neighborhood is an inverted mega mall. You can find anything over there or at least a pretty good copy of it. I tried getting a fake ID once there. I wanted a Hawaiian Drivers Licence with the name Mac Lovin, like from the movie Super Bad. They wanted $90 for it. That's crazy. Mi Querido Pulgarcito No. 1 is a chain that serves delicious papusas. I ordered the Papusas Revueltas. For $2 it's an amazingly affordable lunch.
