Joshua Tree Saloon, 61835 29 Palms Hwy, Joshua Tree, CA 92252 What seems like a very long time ago this year, Petrina Crockford, writer, contacted me to see if i would be interested in accompanying her to the Palm Springs International Film Festival. Our MacDowell Colony buddy Noa Gusakov's film "How To Swim" was selected and Noa was gonna be there. After the screening, we got a bite to eat and then went to go see the Noah Purfoy Sculpture Garden, which is always eventful and inspirational. The last thing we did was get beer at the Joshua Tree Saloon. We ordered this fried food spectacular and washed it down with ice cold drafts.
