Smitty's in Culver City

The kids and I used go to this place when they were very young and had some great meals. Back then, when Smitty actually owned this place and had all the Laker's memorabilia on the walls, we loved it. That's back when Shaq was on the team. Smitty played for fun with Rick Fox, so that was the connection. After he sold it, the quality of the food dropped like a lead anchor, so we stopped going over about a decade a go. last week, my daughter treated me to the fried catfish and I have to say it was pretty good. Not as good as when Smitty owned it but decent. The greens where delicious. This is located in a mini mall, 9032 Venice Blvd., Culver City CA 90232.
