Sushi Ken in Torrance

 Located at 22831 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505-3615, Sushi Ken is what one hopes for in a sushi experience; the freshest ingredients, a simple menu, attentive staff of a few, no frills dining interior and of course, the perfect sushi. Perhaps the most important thing is a kind of unspoken pride, for lack of a better term. I get slightly edgy when I go to a sushi place and the menu is primarily wacky fried sushi with crazy fun names. Often the "sushi menu" is either half a page on the menu or it's s separate insert. Sometimes there's very loud music and the acoustic is such that the cumulative conversation is a deep white noise, along with the drowning music. It feels like your attention is purposely being redirected away from the sushi. Not at Sushi Ken. It is all about the sushi and the sushi is excellent.
