Rockenwagner Cafe on Washington Blvd

I've passed by this place so many times and there's almost always a line, especially in the morning. I had to visit my friend on the westside last week so I decided to get my breakfast here. Surprisingly, there was no line when I arrived. That was not the case by the time i left when there was a sizable line by then. Timing is everything.

The coffee was excellent, not too better and slightly caramel-lee.

The breakfast sandwich was delicious. I really liked the roll. What was that? Pretty fancy.

The photo of the interior doesn't document the crowd that was in back of me. I got the sense there were a lot of regulars there too, which is always a good sign. They are located at 12835 West Washington BLVD, LA CA 90066.
