Collins Fish Market on Adams

Located at 4873 W Adams Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016, Collins has been anchoring the revitalization of Adams in many ways but it took quite a while for me to finally grab a lunch here. Primarily a take out store, the fish is fried, the oysters fresh, the greens tender. As almost always the case, I chose the catfish. breaded substantially and spiced in a well balanced manner, the familiar and the joyful was this days lunch. The store has goods for sale as well. I saw a gumbo mix that I'm thinking of buying in the future. There's something very pleasant and comfortable with an otherwise well designed and slightly "proper" interior design. These folks are serious and want you to come back and i will.
