Shikibu Sushi in Culver City

Shikibu is located at 10834 Washington Blvd, Culver City, CA 90232. This is yet another place that I've passed by for years if not a decade and never stopped in. Finally, I was in the neighborhood and it was lunch time so i took advantage of the opportunity. The key here is sushi with brown rice. Not an easy thing to do because it doesn't stick together like white rice does. Regardless, the food was delicious. I think the brown rice is first a bit shocking. it looks so different and in fact tastes and feels different than white rice so the experience is completely different. In the end, a healthier te-maki.
