Hawkin's Burgers in Watts

Still mourning the closure of the Compton Bledsoe's, I was in Watts and lunch time came around. It was a chance to finally go to renown Hawkin's Burgers, 11603 Slater St, Los Angeles, CA 90059. The ordering takes time but they are in total control, that's to say, everyone's complaining about how long it takes but you get the feeling they'll be back regardless. The burger was outstanding. it's on the large size, chunky, dripping, hot and tremendous. There's a reason why so many swear by it and now i've joined the choir.
