ZINC Cafe in the Arts District

Irene Soriano, aka the angel of the Sundance Film Festival, put out the word that she was organizing a walk on the new 4th Street Aquaduct Bridge. It was a cool and brisky Sunday morning, 7:00 AM, we met at the corner where Blue Bottle resides in time to be their first customers. The brigade consisted of LA-based film folks and artist folks. It was a great mix of interests and specialties and groupings morphed organically and we walked up and down the bridge, making our way to Zinc Cafe 580 Mateo St, Los Angeles, CA 90013-2239, where we sat and conversed. Irene is a great community catalyst and i enjoyed every minute. ZINC serves a fresh array of breakfast treats. My toast was excellent, with poached eggs and avocado. The granola with fruit hit the spot after that journey on the new bridge.
