Escondite in DTLA (near Little Tokyo)

Escondite, primarily a bar, has classic bar food. Located at 410 Boyd St, Los Angeles, CA 90013, I went to meet fellow LADOT staff for a mixer. I ordered the Philly and a whiskey. What could be more civilized? Did someone say MaCallan's?????
