It's that kind of place. The day Lea and I showed up there, it was less fanfare but I suspect equally as magical. JT is quite a wonderland, a kind of Shangri-La that re-entries you into life or resets your time and space. Pappy and Harriets sits in pioneer Town, originally built as a set for a Western film. So, the "authenticity" is Hollywood authenticity, which in part, is my authenticity, having been born and raised in Hollywood. Put all that in the mix and the food is always awesome. Steak, burger, fries and drinks. Happiness abound, it looks like Lea's intro to Joshua Tree was wrapped in a bow of carnivorous brilliance.
