Komeda Coffee in Sapporo Hokkaido Japan

 Three weeks ago, I was in Sapporo, Japan (for the first time) for two nights. One morning breakfast at the hotel and second morning here, Komeda Coffee. 白石区東札幌5条1丁目3番1号, 札幌市, JP 003-0005. I was in search of the "morning" which is basically toast, coffee and often a side of salad or potato salad. If you read this blog, you know last year Karasu Bakery in Los Angeles has nailed the bread for the "morning" and definitely re-inspired my love for it. I guess we can say this the authentic "morning" because it's in Japan but also in Sapporo and here at Komeda, they are using Hokkaido butter, which is an added star to the "morning". It's all details but the bottom line is this is all very delicious and a magical way to wake up in the morning, although honestly I was struggling with jet lag at this time.
