Kaotan Ramen sort of near Nogizaka Station, Minami Aoyama, Tokyo Japan

 This is the final post for my trip to Japan. The best for last? Maybe. Definitely in the top three. I went to go see a friend who I hadn't seen in almost three decades. Walking down the street I saw this place and just couldn't resist. It was getting a little cold in the late evening and the idea of a hot bowl of ramen was a magnet not to mention how cool this little building looks.

The ramen was their miso ramen but look at it. It's over the top and was fabulous!

The interior is as cool as the exterior and the table and seats are Showa design which I love.

Walking toward the station, I past a cemetary which was ominous. Yokai? Not tonight, thank you very much. When I got to the station i was pleasantly surprised. It's the station the Nogizaka Under Construction with Banana Man, the idol group Nogizaka 45 are named after. Pretty awesome.
