I believe this was my last night in Japan, last week. In less than 24 hours till I was on a plane headed back to Los Angeles, a sense of desperation to digest everything flushed through me, an impossible task of sorts.

I saw this kissa and dove in. No one was in there. Are they closed? I ordered a mint tea and cake or Castella. Soon there were others. I just needed to catch my breath. It was raining a little and I needed the hot tea to recenter myself. I ate the last piece of cake and gulped the last drop of tea and off again i was into the Shibuya evening
