Krakatoa in San Diego CA

Tiki-like, homemade goods and all the usual coffee suspects. Artist, educator and curator Alessandra Moctezuma and I went to go see shows at Balboa Park and later grabbed a coffee moment at Krakatoa, 1128 25th St, San Diego, CA 92102. The vibe was very neighborhood pride and handmade goods filled. It's nestled in a part of San Diego that has changed so much in recent years. Gentrified and more coffee shops. Well, it's complicated. I wish we can have nice things without making it too expensive to those who for so long made the neighborhood unique and colorful. It's an international epidemic. The service here is really friendly and welcoming. Change is a mixed bag.
