Mikuni in Sacramento CA

 

Earlier this week, I had the privilege of delivering the Invisible Tea House collection, accumulated archival objects and data from my four years as the Pasadena Buddhist Temple Artist-in-Residence through Side Street Projects.

The collection is now part of the State of California Archives. To celebrate, I went by myself to the local sushi restaurant Mikuni located at 1530 J St., Sacramento CA 95814.

I'm not really into the fancy combo makis or fried sushi types. I'm very old school as you can see. Of the eight orders, the smokes salmon and the scallops were really memorable and delicious. With the cold Draft Japanese beer, I felt like i put a bow on this 4+ year experience.
