South LA Cafe @ Browning and Western

 

I finally got a chance to stop by South LA Cafe, 1700 Browning Blvd LA CA 90062 @ Western Avenue.

On the days I drove to CalState Dominguez Hills, I would take surface streets; usually taking Western and always passed by this place. The facade is bold and screams COMMUNITY.

I ordered a Horchata Cafe. A little sweet for me but delicious and refreshing. Check out their website, there's a lot going here with community initiative, a podcast, merchandise and they roast their own coffee.
