Pupuseria Menchita/ Antojitos Menchita on Beverly

Located at 1606 Beverly Blvd LA CA 90026 Pupuseria Menchita is very blue.

I have passed by this place for years but I finally had a meal there.

This carne asada lunch plate was incredible! The steak was so juicy, spicy and tender. With little bits of roasted chili and pieces of the other items on the plate, i piled it onto ripped pieces of the tortilla and devoured this plate.

The order window is outdoors as is the seating. I wonder what they do when it rains? It's attached to a market, that is really stocked with great items, fresh produce and a full on butcher.

You buy your drink there but first, got to the window, order and then bring the receipt into the market. Grab your drink and then pay for everything at the cash register. Find a place to sit and within 8 minutes, your meal is ready. Everyone was super nice and welcoming. I hope you get a chance to grab a bite here. I will go back someday to have the pupusas which i overlooked.
