Mesòn on Western Avenue

 When did the food style of "bowl" become popular? 2020's? Even Chipotle has bowls. 

In Japanese, we call this donburi and of this genre, one of my favs is the Oyako-don.

I've drove past Mesòn, 459 N Western Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90004, for months and finally grabbed lunch there. ice coffee and the Chicken Chipotle Bowl.

I don't normally order bowls but this was a very pleasant surprise. In one word; fresh.

I really enjoyed eating this late lunch. I'd like to go back someday and try more from their menu. What is there story? It was a one person operation too.
