Country Kitchen, 61768 Twentynine Palms Highway, Joshua Tree, CA 92252, was the perfect JT breakfast spot. It was recommend to me by a man named Steve who i got to interview the day before. Steve was a friend of the late Art Kunkin who famously trained groups across the USA during the 60's on how to start their free press, having started the L.A. Free Press, also known as the Freep. Kunkin's last two decades were spent in Joshua Tree, where he deeply studied and practiced alchemy. I ordered the sausage breakfast with home fries, rye bread but it was the salsa that was amazing to me. This homemade bowl of wonderfulness is something I hope you all get to experience.
