Hearts Coffee Shop Northridge LA

 At 16918 Saticoy St, Los Angeles, CA 91406-2127 is a local legend, Hearts Coffee Shop. Run by a Chinese-American family, this has been a fav of local and visiting Northridge folk for decades. HOWEVER, it took Patsy Cox to introduce it to me. I believe I've passed by it countless of times over the past three decades but for one reason or another....well well, I made it finally.

I'm now a fan and can't wait to go back.

We had just had lunch and assumed they had desert but I did order a pancake. I explained to Patsy that in Japan it's a dessert. Whatever works, right!?

The custard is made fresh daily and stole the show. Both Patsy and I are destined to be back in the near future for a proper meal.
