Happy Taco on Hoover off Pico Blvd

 Happy Taco is located at 1309 Hoover St, Los Angeles, CA 90006. Yet another restaurant I've passed by for decades, thought I'd like to try it, but took me a long time to finally stop by.

I ordered an Al pastor and Chicken taco with beans and rice. They had many frescas available. i chose watermelon.

The outdoor seating is a small gated courtyard with a roof. There are about four or five tables with chairs.

You order at the window on Hoover and then they bring your food to your little picnic-like table. There's ample parking to the side of the building that you enter off Hoover.

The menu is immense. I wanted to keep it simple for my first time, hence, the two tacos but clearly there is so much to choose from. They have sea food too.

Everything here was delicious and prepared well. The fresca, refreshing and rich. The meats sauteed deep and all the fixins' fresh and generous.

The service was wonderful and the food came fairly quickly. I went by myself but would like to bring friends next time.
