Caffeineicide, a pop up

It took a bit longer than I had hoped but I finally drove to Highland Park to catch a brew. This was a latte that was so smooth.

As he often explains, everything about his process from the water to the roast to the tools to the technique is intentional. Check out one of his posts where he responds to the question," what's your goal? Do you want to franchise, become another Starbucks?" His anti-capitalist-colonial responses is so healthy and honest.

All this to say that it is the Holiday season and we have privilege and we have choices. Small businesses and pop up-based economy craft folks need our capital. It's a message and its an ethic we can all crack a dent into our communities.
