Park Avenue Coffee in STL
Charlie of Counterpublic brought us here to specifically introduce me to the STL dessert Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. Most STL folks I've met say this is the place to get an authentic Ooey Gooey Cakes.
We bought a whole sheet and brought it to the Counterpublic office.
Charlie had just come back from Costa Rica and brought back a roast for the staff so they made a pot and we ate the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake. It was a great match and wonderful experience. It is slightly gooey but I think I was hoping for more gooey-ness. It was certainly gooey enough. The taste is sweet and slightly tangy. It was great to experience it first with the CP Staff in their new office, the Judson House.
