Re/ Creation Cafe on Washington

 I think everyone in my neighborhood was eyeing this as it developed and like their banner says, finally open. it is not easy by any stretch of the imagination to open up an eatery in Los Angeles. it's expensive with the trauma of inspections, getting plans approved, getting permits, working with contractors; it all can take a real toll on your mental health. So when one open's, you have to applaud the noble effort.

Enter Re/Creation located at 4500 W Washington Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016.

Even the outside is inviting, with sidewalk tables and handwritten signage.

Walk in and i was like, Wow. It's so much more spacious, rustic while also being sleek and cool, dare i say groovy, than you can tell from the outside?

The menu is very sweet. i ordered the wellington egg breakfast with a daily drip coffee.

Re/Creation is a multi-purpose vibe. date? yes, family meal? yes, live events? yes , come solo with your laptop? yes. There are several well designed areas to dine/sit; Re/Creation gives you options.

The meal? Amazing. fresh baked bread, the hash meal was like someone's family member made it for you. The coffee was deep and full of flavor. It's always a good sign when you finish your meal and wished you were still hungry so you could stay longer and eat more.
