Antigua Bread in El Sereno

 

The Mayan Breakfast at Antigua was absolutely perfect. What a great meal for a very productive morning. The peeps were cool and the local folk were packing the place.  

Located at 5597 N Huntington Dr, Los Angeles, CA 90032-1362, the tamales were exceptional and the beans, soooo goooood!

The red sauce on the tamales was also deep and satisfying. This was not your typical salsa but had a savoryness that reminded me of gumbo.

I'd like to try other items on the menu someday. What a great place.
