Ingredients in Compton
Located at 2251 W Rosecrans Ave, Compton, CA 90222, Ingredients is an upscale cafe with nice red vinyl booths. This was a Sunday morning so i got the feeling locals were in the place. The waffles were tenderly fried and the fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy in the inside. I drenched them with the hot sauce. I really enjoyed the grits so warm and tender. They were really mouthwatering and satisfying. I don't usually get lemonade but it was hot and it is called the Sam Cooke so it seemed the right thing to do.
When I was very young, my Aunt drove us around and had an Oldie but Goodie 8 track tape. On that tape was Sam Cooke's Another Saturday Night. I really don't think I, my brother and cousins understood what the big deal about Saturday night was we would sing along to it. The lyric about not having any money was probably something we all understood though.
