Kumquat DTLA

 Located at 545 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90071 and part of the Kumquat LA empire, generally open in the morning and closing in the early afternoon, I've missed the open door at least twice. This time, I made it in the morning, hours before my reservation for the Yoko Ono exhibition at the Broad.

Staff was pro and the interior sparse and slightly mall like compared the other locations in town. I ordered a pour over, sat down, enjoyed it and left.

I'm not really part of the DTLA community anymore so this location was a challenge to schedule. I can see how folks who work in this core DTLA district can really appreciate the quality of the roasts they brew.
