Desano Pizzeria Napoletana on Santa Monica Blvd

 I think my friend Vince, who is one of the member of Bicycle Meals in K-Town, told me about this place or was it Tomas? That was over a year ago, I think? Anyway, i finally got a chance to stop by and grab a pie.

The exterior is rather dark (it was night time), you have no hint of what's inside. There is big parking lot to the west of the building. Once you enter, you immediately get a neighborhood pizza place. The line went quick. Place your order and you're directed to go to the dining room and all of a sudden you realize how huge this place is. Community tables stretch one after another. The night i went, everyone was watching an NBA game.

The pizza was very good. It hit the spot. The pizza is a medium thickness? not a thin crust at all. The sauce is really delicious. This was a 12" pie. i ate the whole thing watching the gamer, cause it was delicious and i was hungry. Located at 4959 Santa Monica CA 90029.
