Family Fish Market in Carson CA

Last week, I was at this mini mall across the street from the Galaxy Arena getting ice cream with Devon Tsuno who teaches at the neighboring CalState Dominguez Hills. I noticed Family Fish Market in the the same strip and asked about it. Devon said it's artist Lauren Halsey's favorite.

I went there this past Monday for lunch and ordered the catfish unch plate. You can choose from the various sides which i chose the hush puppies and coleslaw.

The catfish was not too greasy, fluffy and rich. The breaded was delicious and crunchy. I really enjoyed the hush puppies; small, thick crust outside and tender and hot inside. The coleslaw was excellent; fresh and slightly sweet.
