Blue Butterfly Coffee Company in El Segundo CA

 Blue Butterfly Coffee Company is located at 351 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245-3814. 

There was a bicycle event honoring the Japanese American legend Alan Nishio. After the event, I made my way to El Segundo's Main Street were so many wonderful places to eat are. Sinde I hadn't been there in over a year, I suspected there might be some new places.

I'd never been to Blue Butterfly so i decided to give it a try.

The interior is slightly rustic. It's an odd one room layout with the cash register immediately at the entrance adjacent to where the drinks are mad, across the back wall is the kitchen layout and the few tables  make the left side of the room. It's sort of seems designed to be like a cafeteria but it's not a cafeteria.

Fresh squeezed orange juice is made by the one who takes you order. This is accomplished in between taking orders so it's obviously freshly made, to each order. Pretty labor intensive but appreciated. Most place will make a bunch and leave it in the fridge for hours.

The sandwich was a perfect handheld meal for my way back to K-Town. Toasted sesame seed bagel with fresh toppings. The perfect meal for a morning of celebration.
