Ruen Pair in L.A.'s Thai Town

 

 The food mall at 5257 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90027 is a venue I've frequented many times over the past decades. Several months ago, as the artists participating in "Interventions: Fresh Perspectives After 50 Years" were coming into town for the exhibition opening, I got to spend some time with kateHERS Rhee and Akiko Jackson. It was a day of gallery and museum hoping concluding with dinner at Ruen Pair. It was such an enjoyable and festive time tho we were all semi-preoccupied with our individual installation challenges, etc. The food that night really comforted us and put a nice bow on the day.
