Highly Likely on Jefferson Blvd

It'd been a while since I met with artist Michael Rippens and so we had planned to go to Tak's but they were closed so Michael recommended Highly Likely, 4310 W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90016.  

Looking past the gentrification that has blossomed throughout this area and Adams, this place has a very trendy vibe to it with a very competent staff.

Oddly, the coffee machine was out of order so we ordered lattes. p

The food was excellent, pricey and fresh. I fear my favs will slowly close around that area and they will become ghosts like Capitol Burger or Leo's BBQ.

Luckily, about a week later, Michael, Irene and I met at Tak's for Loco Moco, which restored my local pride and settled my gentrification fears, for at least the moment.
