Crème in Claremont

Crème a brilliant and almost magical bakery in Claremont CA, 116 Harvard Ave N, Claremont, CA 91711. I'd been working on a small project at the local library and a number of staff were raving about this new bakery. I've been loyal to Some Crust, of which I'd been going to since 1992. I took a break with writer Rocio Carlos and we parked and were going to a coffeeshop but our eye caught a window filled with baked goods and of course the aroma of melting butter and sugar. We looked at each other and realized this must be the place everyone at the library was talking about. Walking, it feels like a wall to wall room of smiling customers, seated and experiencing baked goods rooted in a French culinary commitment. Coffee, croissant and a biscuit. We sat at a table a chair on the sidewalk and it was highly memorable.
