I'm visiting five libraries this week to research the LA County Library system. Across the street from the Claremont Library, currently closed for remodeling, is Bardot, a French inspired restaurant in Larchmont Village, 206 W Bonita Ave, Claremont, CA 91711.
The interior is whimsy/ hip. it reminded me of Rubbish's design for Lamill in Silver Lake. I ordered the Moules Frites, a healthy portion of baked mussels in an subtle butter sauce. It was so delicious. The service is very good and the staff is super friendly. My co-worker Chris had been there many many times but this was my first. It was a great discovery.
