Sam First very near LAX

 About a block east of the main entrance to LAX is Sam First located at 6171 W Century Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045-5300. It's attached to a cluster of buildings that are hotels. There's ample metered street parking, parking structures and on the website it says there are several dedicated parking space in back of the immediate hotel but i couldn't figure it out.

This is a JAZZ club, in the old skool sense of what that might conjure.

The night I went, it was Gerald Clayton with a bass and drummer. This was an exceptional performance of tunes and masterful improvisations.

According to the website, Sam First also has a recording studio and produces music. I didn't see an LP by Clayton on the website but maybe in the future?

I ordered a non alcohol drink: Juice Cleanse  $16; Amass, Lime, Passion fruit, pineapple, Pineapple, Grendine and cherry. Healthy and potent.

I also ordered ice cream: Fuegos Artisan Dulce de Leche Ice Cream. AMAZING! 

It's all about the music, tho and this trip was cookin. They were very impressive and fun to listen to.
