Liu's Cafe in Koreatown

 I had breakfast last week at Liu's Cafe, 3915 1/2 W 6th Street LA CA 90020, with my friend and artist Umi Hsu. Liu's Cafe was recommended by our mutual friend Mike Manalo. I'd been wanting to go ever since Mike raved about it so since i needed to talk to Umi, I picked this place. Umi is origirnaly from Taiwan and this place is famous for "Chinese Breakfast", which I was not aware of so luckily Umi navigated the menu for us and we had the breakfast special, a savory dream of hot porridge and chicken, egg and scallions with a side of Chinese bread which i could have easily eaten two more of.

I need to go back and try other items on the menu. Mike is really good with finding gems in the City and this is no exception. What a find!
