Madre in Torrance

 

A meal with Mike and Greg is always very enjoyable. Mike works for Honda and across the street is old Downtown Torrance. There, Madre is a mole place with a very impressive Mezcal selection. Even with the panorama lens, i couldn't get the entire bar in the pix.

My Mole Poblano was wonderful but that Mezcal based cocktail was really memorable with the lime juice dancing like Carmen Miranda in the mezcal; fun to drink and opened up my taste buds after a semi-frustrating day. Very well choreographed experience. Afterwards, we walked around the neighborhood and listened to Mike talk about working at Honda and the up coming Honda Museum.
