I got to go to a Holiday dinner with the amazing folks of the Asian American Justice and Innovation Lab. 

AAJIL blossomed during the pandemic, as Asian Hate crimes were being reported across the Nation. AAJIL was for me and so many, an online haven of support, education, empowerment and camaraderie. Last week and years into the Pandemic, as things have opened up, we all met for dinner in Koreatown at Jail Jao, 2500 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90057. many of us meeting in real time for the first time.

We drank, we ate and we tried cramming into a photo booth. I also tried Army Stew for the first time, which was pretty good but contextually sobering, albeit not while being sober.
