On the first floor of the Miyako Inn at 328 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012 in Little Tokyo is Okayama Kobo.

If you are nostalgic for French inspired but extremely Japanese style pastries, this is you place.

it was recommended to me by one of the members of the Sumire-Kai, the sewing club at the Pasadena Buddhist Temple.

Okayama Kobo joins the wealth of bakeries in Little Tokyo and is a bit more cute, a bit more contemporary than the others.
