Jitlada Restaurant in East Hollywood

I forgot who recommended this place? It had very high marks on Yelp and inside there are many signed pix of famous people especially Matt Groening. The ambiance is dark and exotic. The service is fantastic. Really nice people. I think maybe, we ordered the wrong food but it was just ok, a little too salty. Maybe, our expectations were too high? That happens. You enter a place with all this fanfare and then it falls short. It's not a fair playing field. The dessert was good. I also think maybe we were supposed to drink beer.
