La 1st Street Taqueria in Boyle Heights

A couple of friends told me that Chef Patti who used to run Homegirls opened up her own place called La 1st Street Taqueria, 1843 E 1st Street LA CA 90012. My daughter and I went for lunch this past Sunday and it was true. it's her new place. Incredible. Fresh, healthy and so tasty. They even had the green drink, a kale-based lemonade-like drink. Eureka!!!!! I'm gonna try to go tomorrow during lunch. It's a half block away from the Mariachi Station. Please go if you can. This is great food.
