Yuko Kitchen in Miracle Mile

It was a kind of pre-Father's Day dinner. My daughter came home from work and we went to Yuko Kitchen, 5484 Wilshire Blvd LA CA 90036. It was our first time and to no great surprise, it's a very Japanese modern place but very comfortable and affordable. great food! I ordered the Taco Bowl, Mint Lemonade and a side of Kabocha (Japanese pumpkin). When we walked in, there was already busy buzz with most of the tables occupied. The decor is quite wonderful. It feels like a very cool place in Japan. Totoro was playing on the TV, nice and nostalgic. I have to say, we were both very pleasantly surprised.
