Cuernevaca Taqueria in Ventura

After I completed my interview of artist Colin Gray, we decided to go to lunch. Colin recommended Cuernevaca Taqueria, a local favorite for Mexican food. I ordered a Gordita and two tacos. The Gordita was amazing. Of course, it's hard not to be amazing with you start with a fried cornbread shell. This place, although one of several local chains, had an exceptional home kitchen vibe about the food. Everything tasted honest and homemade. This one was located at 1117 N Ventura Ave Ventura CA 93001.
