La Mejor Birria de Res in Valencia

 Near Valencia, off the 5 freeway taking Stevenson Ranch Parkway West, on the Old Road, infront of a mini mall, was La Mejor Birria de Res. I ordered two tacos; Al Pastor and Lengua and ate them in the truck. It was a fabulous snack!

I spoke about four recent projects at the California Institute for the Arts off McBean Parkway. It's a legendary art college where many of my mentors graduated and/or taught. It was an honor be part of the Paul Brach Artist Lecturer Series. I was a little nervous about it so finishing it was quite the relief. The two tacos helped settle my nerves.  Having been brought up in Los Angeles, tacos will do that for me everytime.
