Spicy Sugar Thai - MidCity

 The other day, I was in a store on Adams. They sell flour bag materials as towels. I like these towel because theyre made well and I've been using them in the studio for all my equipment, sort of fancy, uniform, dust covers. There's a store, that's very colorful across the street and I asked if they knew what that was. "It's a Thai Restaurant". I asked if it was good and she hesitated, it's okay. Where are some Thai spots she would recommend? She said there's a small place on La Brea in a funny little off street that parallels La Brea, kind of caddy corner to Sproats and Michaels. I told her I'd been wondering about that place and she said it was good.

Fast forward to this week, Jack came over to help with the studio and for our lunch break, I suggested this spot. Jack was already aware of it and had gone to their Long Beach location regularly when they lived there. This location is where they get take out on occassion now that they live in Culver City. 

Spicy Sugar Thai is located at 1271 S La Brea Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90019. It was delicious. jack did all the ordering. The service was great and they have lots of parking. I really liked the interior decor. it was like Tarentino meets Sesame Street.

Great lunch and then it was back to the studio to work.
