rōk in Koreatown

 rōk is located at 3060 W Olympic Blve LA CA 90006. This matcha spot opened a while ago this year but the lines always long. I finally drove by when there was no line so I turned around and walked in. There were still a full house of customers but no line that wraps around the building.

I ordered the Matcha Latte, classic, no nonsense. What's so special about this matcha latte that there would always be such a line? I think it's this matte cream that is like 2"'s floating on the top of the liquid part of the drink. They suggest to eat some of the cream like ice cream. Then  when there's room on top of the cup to stir. The stirring takes a while but soon you have this creamy shake like matte.

it's more like a dessert than a drink to me. Very well designed drink.
