Rappahannock Oyster Bar @ ROW DTLA
Well, this is my second time to the very popular ROW DTLA but this time I didn't make it to the Smorgasborg/ multi vendor Sunday food booth area. Instead, I went to one of the brick n mortars, Rappahannock Oyster Bar 777 S Alameda St Ste 154, Los Angeles, CA 90021-1657.
I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and the vibe was a perfect Sunday morning vibe but as often happens, I didn't read the details i.e., I had no idea the main focus was oysters. Of course, I saw oysters on the menu but it didn't speak to me. Instead, I ordered the crab eggs benedict. The server told me it's one of their most popular brunch items. It was soooooo good. I was thoroughly impressed. The Hollandaise sauce was excellent; creamy and deep but not so overpowering that it masks the eggs.
I sat at the counter near the kitchen area so i got to peek at other dishes being brought to their tables. Everything looked awesome. I need to go back and try the oysters. So this will be part one.
